Our topic this month is "Where was my ancestor(s) when..."  We will discuss writing about our ancestors experiences during world or local events.

 

The homework will be to write about an ancestor or ancestors during a specific event in history. It can be as big or small of an event as you choose. Try to find local news accounts, records, or personal stories of how your ancestors lived through/experienced that event. No minimum word count. As always we'll ask authors to cut short long stories as needed for time.
