The June 10, 2025 educational meeting was held virtually and in person at the University Place Library. Four board members and two additional members were present. Three board members and seven additional members and/or guests were present online. 

Liz Osborn, vice president of Programs gave the presentation, What Is Your Summer Genealogy Goal? She discussed ways for choosing a couple of doable goals, planning the time needed, gathering the materials and steps needed, and accomplishing the chosen goals. 
She also suggested that we reward  ourselves for the accomplishment with a pat on the back, a verbal boast to a friend and a simple physical reward like ice cream, chocolate or a favorite beverage.

A lively discussion was held about the various goals the participants had accomplished or were planning, such as acquiring documentation for death certificates or citing sources for a specific number of ancestors.
